About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the CRM2301 course, Positivist Theories in Criminology, Section A00, during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is for a new role and will be located at the Main Campus. The TA will be responsible for a combination of tasks including leading discussion groups, grading papers and exams, providing one-on-one consultations with students, and proctoring exams. The student must adhere to the suggested work schedule and be available to attend the course lectures if requested by the supervisor. The course is in-person.

Requirements

• Baccalauréat avec spécialisation en criminologie ou son équivalent.
• Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6.
• All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
