About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for POL2305 - Introduction to Indigenous Politics, Section A00, during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is classified under CUPE and involves various responsibilities related to assisting the professor with the course. The work will be performed primarily on the Main Campus and is expected to be delivered in person. Requirements

  • Priority will be given to candidates in accordance with articles 18.5 and 18.6 of the CUPE collective agreement.
  • Students must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
  • All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Must be available to work on campus as the teaching method is in person.
  • Must be available to travel to the University of Ottawa campus in Ottawa at the request of their supervisor and/or the School.
