About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) position for the Introduction au calcul et vecteurs (MAT-1739) course, Section A, during the Fall 2026 semester. The position involves leading tutorial sessions (DGDs) and requires a strong understanding of mathematics and statistics. Priority will be given to graduate students in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. Requirements

• Student with a minimum of 30 credits in mathematics & statistics.
• Good understanding of the subject matter.
• Ability to perform the duties of a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor.
• Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
• Must be able to work under the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.

• Graduate students from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics will be given priority.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutorial sessions (DGDs) for MAT-1739, Section A.
• Provide contact with students.
• Perform grading and notation.
