About The Position

This posting is for a new position as a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor for the Fondements de calcul différentiel et intégral I (MAT-1721 Section A) course during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves direct contact with students for 50 hours, focusing on leading tutorial sessions (DGD A01 and DGD A02). Requirements

  • Student with a minimum of 30 credits in mathematics & statistics.
  • Good understanding of the subject matter for Fondements de calcul différentiel et intégral I.
  • Ability to lead tutorial sessions (DGD A01 and DGD A02).

  • Priority will be given to graduate students from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide contact with students for 50 hours, including leading tutorial sessions (DGD A01: Thursdays 8:30 a.m. - 9:50 a.m., DGD A02: Fridays 11:30 a.m. - 12:50 p.m.).
  • Ensure specific allocation of hours to various tasks is negotiated and signed with the supervising professor prior to the commencement of work.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
