About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the "Introduction to Field Research" course (GEG/ENV 2918, Section A00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is part-time and falls under the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. The TA will assist with tasks related to the course, which has an expected enrollment of 80 students. The work period is from September 1, 2026, to October 31, 2026, with a total of 120 work hours. The hourly rate depends on student status: undergraduate students will be paid at $31.89/hour, and graduate students at $50.25/hour (rates for 2024-2025, subject to collective agreement ratification). Requirements

  • Student in Human/Physical Geography.
  • Previous experience as an assistant in GEG2918 or field experience with the professor involved.
