About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Child Development course (PSY2105, Section B00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course will be offered in person, and TAs will be expected to be available on campus for in-person duties such as proctoring and handling deferrals. Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent.
  • Current enrolment in the MA/PhD program in Psychology.
  • All University of Ottawa employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in the Psychology program.

Responsibilities

  • Training, preparation, contact with students, marking, grading, and proctoring all exams for the Child Development course (PSY2105, Section B00).
  • Be available to come on campus for any in-person duties outlined by the course instructor, such as proctoring and handling deferrals.
