About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the Child Development course (PSY2105, Section C00) during the Fall 2026 semester. The course will be offered online (asynchronous), but TAs may be required to come to campus for in-person duties such as proctoring or deferrals. The position involves training, preparation, contact with students, grading, and proctoring exams. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. Undergraduate students will be paid at a rate of $31.89/hour, while graduate students will be paid at $50.25/hour (2024-2025 rates, subject to change with a new collective agreement). Requirements

  • Honours Baccalaureate in Psychology or its equivalent
  • Current enrolment in the MA/PhD program in Psychology
  • Ability to come on campus for in-person duties as required
  • Completion of all mandatory legislated training offered by the University
