About The Position
This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course HSS 6504 A00 - Méthodes et analyses de recherche quantitative en sciences de la santé (1.5 credits) during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves assisting with grading, written exams, and assignments, as well as proctoring exams. There is a possibility of being asked to hold office hours to answer student questions. The course is hybrid and runs from October 21 to December 8, 2026. The total work hours for this position are 25.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctorate in Health Sciences or related fields.
- Strong writing skills for accurate grading of essays and exam questions requiring elaborate answers.
- Experience with e-learning programs and software (as a user or teaching assistant).
- Experience with web software (uploading content, programming content).
- Experience in designing and conducting quantitative studies.
- Experience in quantitative data analysis and associated management software.
- Access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam.
- Ability to travel to campus on occasion.
Responsibilities
- Assistance with grading, written exams, and assignments.
- Proctoring of exams.
- Potentially providing office hours to answer student questions and concerns outside of class hours.
