About The Position

This position is for a Teaching Assistant for the course HSS 6513 A00: Engagement en recherche : personnes ayant une expérience vécue et partenariats communautaires (Research Engagement: Lived Experience and Community Partnerships). The course is worth 1.5 credits and is offered in a hybrid format. The TA will assist with grading, written exams, and assignments. They may also be asked to proctor exams and hold office hours to answer student questions. The course runs from October 21 to December 31, 2026, with classes on Wednesdays from 2:30 PM to 5:20 PM. The total work hours for this position are 25.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD in Health Sciences or related fields.
• Strong writing skills for grading essays and exam questions requiring elaborate answers.
• Experience with online learning programs and software (as a user or teaching assistant).
• Experience with web software (downloading content, programming content).
• Evidence-based knowledge in population health.
• Access to a computer, internet, microphone, and webcam.
• Ability to travel to campus occasionally.
• Must complete all mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
