About The Position

This posting is for a Specific Course (Cours précis) for the Fall 2026 semester in the Department of Communication_Students and Casuals within the Faculty of Arts. The course is CMN2560 - Théories des médias, Section A00. The position is a combination of tasks including grading, participating in in-class and/or online classes, one-on-one student consultations (in-person and/or online), and exam proctoring. The number of positions and hours may vary based on enrollment. The work start date is September 1, 2026, and the end date is December 31, 2026, with a total of 60 work hours. The hourly rate is $33.83 for undergraduate students and $53.31 for graduate students (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027), excluding vacation and statutory pay. These rates are subject to change with a new collective agreement, with retroactivity after ratification. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
