About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Lab Monitor (CUPE) position for the BIO2129 (ECOLOGIE) course, Section A00, during the 2026 Fall Semester. The position involves 86 hours of grading and notation. The hiring process will be governed by the current CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements
- Successful completion of BIO2529 or course equivalent(s).
- Successful completion of WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety workshops.
- Must be a student at the University of Ottawa.

- Graduate students will be paid at a higher rate than undergraduate students.
Responsibilities
- Grading and notation for BIO2129 (ECOLOGIE), Section A00.
- Complete mandatory legislated training offered by the University.
- Negotiate and sign a description of work with the supervising professor prior to the commencement of work.
