About The Position
This posting is for a Teaching Assistant (TA) position for the course DTO5310, Section B, titled "Ethics for Design, AI and Robotics", during the Fall 2026 semester. The position is within the Faculty of Engineering, School of Engineering Design and Teaching Innovation. The TA will be responsible for tasks including contact with students and grading. The total work hours for this position are 65.
Requirements
- Priority given to students who have completed the course (DTO5310) or equivalent (DTI5310, IAI5310, or GNG5310) with an A or A+ grade.
- Solid understanding of ethical issues in technology and design.
- Familiarity with AI and robotics.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent and comfortable using zoom and Brightspace.
- Ready for an interview if considered for this position.
Responsibilities
- Contact with students: 28 hours
- Grading: 32 hours
- Proctoring: 5 hours
