This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the "Éthique des médias" (Media Ethics) course, CMN3505, Section B00, during the Fall 2026 semester. The role involves a combination of tasks including grading, participating in in-class and/or online classes, consulting with students in person and/or online, and proctoring exams. The total expected work hours are 60. The hourly rate depends on the student's academic level: undergraduate students will be paid at $31.89/hour, and graduate students at $50.25/hour (2024-2025 rates). These rates do not include vacation or statutory pay and are subject to change based on a new collective agreement ratification. All University of Ottawa employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will follow the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
