About The Position

This posting is for a Teaching Assistant position for the course TRA1501 A: Initiation à la traduction, during the Winter 2026 semester. The Teaching Assistant will be responsible for a group of approximately thirty students for the entire session. The distribution of hours may vary based on the actual needs of the course. All University of Ottawa employees are required to complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process will be governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement. Requirements

• Good knowledge of the field of translation (basic notions and terminology).
• Practical experience with Brightspace (especially discussion forums and the evaluation module).
• Excellent command of English and French.
