About The Position

Whispering Pines Preschool is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Preschool Aide to help create a positive learning environment that supports each child’s growth, development, and individual needs. Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the aide helps provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom experience. The organization is a family-owned preschool serving children and families throughout Upstate New York, with five locations.

Responsibilities

• Help create a learning and emotional environment that promotes each child’s growth and development.
• Support classroom activities, lesson preparation, and mealtimes.
• Help maintain classroom management and implement daily schedules and routines.
• Encourage positive behavior and a productive learning environment.
• Support students with and without special needs.
• Provide general supervision of children under the direction of the classroom teacher.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom and building environment.
• Assist with before-school and after-school wraparound childcare programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
