St. Anne's Family Services is dedicated to transforming lives and communities by providing unwavering support to families from pregnancy to parenthood and childhood to adulthood. The Early Childhood Education (ECE) program is an Early Head Start and Head Start program that services children, ages birth to 5 years of age, and their families. Our program supports school readiness by focusing on health, mental health, nutrition, family engagement and social/emotional development. All of our Early Childhood Education services are free to eligible families. This position as a Teacher assists in facilitating and implementing individual and group activities to support children’s social, physical, and intellectual development. The Teacher collaborates with co-teachers to stimulate learning and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment that encourages exploration and growth. Additionally, the Teacher is responsible for completing educational assessments, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the inclusion of children with Individual Family Development Plans (IFSPs). They actively promote parent engagement by supporting parents in their role as primary educators, enhancing their involvement in their child’s school readiness and development.
