About The Position

Teachers at KinderCare implement the company’s curriculum in ways that meet each child’s unique needs and create safe, nurturing environments where children can play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. KinderCare offers career investment and support, and recognizes teachers’ commitment to children and families. The position is based at the Elk Grove center. Pay is $17.35 per hour.

Requirements

Outstanding customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
Have or be willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
Able to assume low-level postures to allow physical and visual contact with children.
Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe and engage in physical activity with them.
Able to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
