About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom for 13.5 hours per week in Phoenix, AZ. The position involves teaching in a First- or Fourth-Grade classroom at the West Valley center, serving families in central Phoenix and West Valley areas. While a teaching certification or formal teaching experience is not required, a love for babies and toddlers is essential. The academy provides training on everything needed for the role. The ideal candidate may have experience in homeschooling, childcare, parish ministry, Religious Education, or teaching in classical/private schools. The role requires the applicant to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and possess a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines are provided, and tutors receive training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. Key attributes include strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and living the Catholic faith daily, including receiving appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training.
