Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required for specific teaching assignment.
  • ACSI certification required
  • Previous teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience in Christian education is highly valued.
  • A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
  • Commitment to living a life consistent with biblical principles.
  • Agreement with the school’s doctrinal statement.
  • In person attendance and active participation in a local Bible believing church.
  • Strong instructional and classroom management skills

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
  • Integrate a biblical worldview throughout instruction and classroom discussions.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student learning through formative and summative evaluations.
  • Provide timely and meaningful feedback to students.
  • Maintain accurate records of grades, assignments, and attendance.
  • Create a safe, orderly, and Christ-centered learning environment.
  • Establish clear classroom expectations and consistent discipline practices.
  • Encourage student responsibility, respect, and integrity.
  • Promote positive student relationships and collaboration.
  • Maintain open and professional communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events.
  • Work collaboratively with administration and fellow teachers to support student success.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school functions.
