About The Position

Brillante Academy Public Charter School, which opened in August 2023, currently serves over 420 students in the Mission area and surrounding communities. For the 2026-2027 school year, Brillante will offer PreK3 through 4th grade and plans to expand by one grade level annually until 8th grade. The school aims to grow its network across Texas to serve over 7,000 students within the next decade. Brillante Academy is managed by Seton Education Partners, a Catholicly inspired organization that also oversees the Seton Teaching Fellows missionary program and El Camino, an optional after-school Catholic faith formation program. Seton Education Partners also manages the Brilla Schools Network, which has achieved significant success in Bronx, NY. Brillante Academy is a two-way, dual language school that focuses on empowering scholars and the community through a unique approach combining personalized blended learning, co-teaching, and a classical education. The school emphasizes the holistic development of each child, fostering character through core values such as courage, justice, wisdom, and self-control, while maintaining high academic standards and a rich curriculum. The goal is to prepare scholars for success in high school, college, and beyond. Scholars will become bilingual and biliterate citizens proficient in both English and Spanish, equipped to make a positive impact on their community as problem solvers, advocates, and contributors. Brillante is dedicated to the holistic development of children and to creating a joyful environment for both families and staff. Requirements

  • Belief in the Brillante Academy mission, model and values
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Possession of current Texas teaching certification with Bilingual and/or ESL endorsements (or enrolled in alternative certification program by first day of employment)

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant early childhood or elementary teaching experience with demonstrated student results preferred
