About The Position

As a Teacher at a child care center, you will care for children in your classroom, support their development, and help inspire them to become lifelong learners. You will follow licensing guidelines and company standards, observe and assess children, plan learning experiences, and communicate with families. You will complete extensive training on child care, preschool, and child development topics, and implement the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive activities. The role requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The stated work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience in a licensed childcare center or a related field.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child in the classroom.
• Observe and assess children and plan for their needs and development.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on child care, preschool, and child development topics.
• Implement the proprietary curriculum and create fun, interactive learning experiences for children.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
