About The Position

St. Patrick's Wentzville is seeking a faith-filled and dedicated Middle School Literature Teacher to join our Catholic school community.

Requirements

  • Meet all applicable state and diocesan requirements for educator certification, including appropriate licensure in their subject area and grade level.
  • Demonstrate a strong academic background.
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Genuine passion for working with middle school students, fostering their intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and academic growth.
  • Dedication to supporting students’ spiritual formation within the Catholic tradition—integrating faith-based values into daily instruction, modeling Christian behavior, and encouraging students to grow in their relationship with God through prayer, service, and participation in the life of the Church.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire a love for reading and writing while helping students grow academically and spiritually.
  • Guide students in analyzing literature, strengthening critical thinking, and developing strong communication skills.
  • Integrate Catholic values and foster a classroom environment rooted in respect, compassion, and the teachings of Christ.
