About The Position

This position is for a Grade 6-8 Language Arts Teacher who is bilingual in Spanish. The role requires a deep understanding of child development, effective teaching strategies, and classroom management. The teacher will be responsible for assessing student progress and using data to inform instruction. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential for interacting with students, staff, parents, and the community. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, results-driven, and proficient in using technology for educational purposes. This is a full-time position pending budget availability.

Requirements

  • Hold a New Jersey Elementary Teaching Certificate with a middle school ELA endorsement or K-12 English certificate with a Bilingual/Bicultural Education endorsement (Spanish).
  • Knowledge of child growth and development.
  • Knowledge of effective instructional strategies.
  • Knowledge of classroom management.
  • Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Highly motivated result-driven educator.
