Shepherd's Flock Preschool is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our award-winning intergenerational preschool program located on the campus of Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. Requirements

At least a two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework such as Human Growth and Development, Lifespan Development, or similar
1-3 years of early childhood education or childcare experience preferred
Early Childhood Education Level 3 certification completed or willingness to obtain after hire
Infant Toddler Level 2 certification completed or willingness to obtain after hire
Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
Applicants may be subject to a background check.

Foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children ages 2-3 years old
Integrate teaching skills with the values and principles of a mission-driven organization
Provide children with a well-rounded and developmentally appropriate educational experience
Support each child's growth through intentional interactions, care, and guidance
Participate in intergenerational programming opportunities with older adults
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
