Toddler Assistant Teacher (Ages 2-3)
About The Position
Join our team at Peak Avenue Montessori in Morgan Hill as a Toddler Assistant Teacher for children aged 2-3. Our school provides a nurturing, Montessori environment that supports each child’s natural curiosity, independence, and emotional growth. We aim to create a loving and consistent environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore. Our programs foster independence, creativity, and social connections, helping children develop confidence and a love for learning. The Toddler program supports 12 children with 2 teachers, consisting of a Lead Teacher and an Assistant Teacher.
Requirements
- Experience or a strong desire to work with toddlers.
- Eagerness to learn and grow as an educator.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, supportive team.
- Interest in exploring Montessori education and philosophy.
- Enjoyment of hands-on learning experiences with children.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating a nurturing, Montessori environment for toddlers.
- Support children's natural curiosity, independence, and emotional growth.

- Encourage children to explore the world around them.
- Foster independence, creativity, and social connections through Montessori principles.
