About The Position

The Teacher provides daily care and early education for children in a child care center. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, observing and assessing children, planning learning experiences, and communicating with families. Teachers complete extensive training on child care, preschool, and child development, and implement the company’s proprietary curriculum through fun, interactive activities. The role requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in a licensed child care center or a related field.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of each child in the classroom.
• Observe and assess children and plan for their needs and development.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on child care, preschool, and child development topics.
• Implement the company’s proprietary curriculum and create interactive learning experiences for children.
• Engage in physical activity with children and work indoors or outdoors.
