About The Position

Ebenezer Child Care Centers is seeking passionate educators to join their growing team as Lead Teachers. This is a 5-Star early childhood program that encourages teachers to create, explore, lead, and make a difference. The program utilizes an E.P.I.C. Curriculum to foster purposeful learning experiences that encourage children to explore, create, think, discover, and grow. As a Lead Teacher, you will have the opportunity to bring your creativity and personality into the classroom, providing children with meaningful experiences that build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. You will lead the classroom with the support of a team and leadership, with opportunities for continued growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (or an Associate's Degree with significant experience)
• Previous classroom leadership experience
• Ability to meet required licensing and background requirements

• Create engaging, hands-on experiences that make children excited to learn.
• Develop meaningful relationships with children and families built on trust and communication.
• Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers to create a positive, supportive classroom team.
• Observe children, celebrate their growth, and use discoveries to create individualized learning experiences.
• Create an organized, welcoming environment filled with materials and experiences that invite children to explore.
• Bring positivity, professionalism, creativity, and a team-first attitude every day.
