About The Position

Teachers at Sterling Heights KinderCare implement KinderCare’s curriculum to meet each child’s unique needs and create a safe, nurturing environment for children to play and learn. They partner with parents to provide high-quality care and education, support center goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, and build positive relationships with families, colleagues, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners. Requirements

• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role, or be willing to obtain them.
• Have CPR and First Aid Certification, or be willing to obtain it.
• Be physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• Be able to assume low-level postures to maintain physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
