About The Position

DPSCD Mackenzie Elementary-Middle School is seeking a Teacher for their Summer School Enrichment program. This role involves delivering engaging and interactive instruction, planning fun and active lessons focused on games and movement, and collaborating with fellow educators. The program runs from June 22 to July 24, with a break on July 3. A pre-program meeting will be held in early June, and training is scheduled for June 17.

Requirements

• A minimum of 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university OR A passing score of 460 on the ETS Parapro Assessment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), databases, and social media platforms.
• Will need to upload documents in teams.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science or Arts in Education or related field.
• Valid Michigan teaching certificate and applicable endorsement(s) as required by the Michigan Department of Education.
• Meets Highly Qualified Teacher requirements.

Responsibilities
