California Montessori Project (CMP) is a public charter school network in the greater Sacramento area offering a TK-8 Montessori program. CMP supports teachers in obtaining dual certification, holding both a Montessori certification and a California state credential. The network serves over 3,000 students across seven campuses and maintains strong relationships with four school districts. CMP's commitment to equity and student success is guided by Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks, promoting whole-child development. The mission of CMP is to provide a quality, tuition-free, TK-8, Montessori education that challenges students to reach their full potential. Teachers at CMP integrate Montessori curriculum and philosophy with Common Core State Standards in multi-age classrooms, creating stimulating learning environments that foster intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth. Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, assessing student progress, communicating with parents, and collaborating with colleagues.
