Provide special education consultation and instruction to meet the needs of eligible students identified with autism spectrum disorder. This role involves participating in ARD/IEP meetings, completing required paperwork, developing and implementing instructional programs, demonstrating competence in behavior management principles, administering assessments, communicating with parents and staff, collecting data on student progress, and utilizing scientifically based research methods for instruction. The teacher will also participate in continuing professional development and may be required to provide physical prompting, personal care, and SHARS duties.
