Requirements
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, Bachelor's Degree in Education, or a combination of formal education
- NJDOE Teaching Certificate Required
- Relevant child care experience ideally with infants, toddlers, or pre-school aged children
- Positive and clear communication skills specifically in speaking with parents
- Classroom management skills
- Ability to plan and implement curriculum and manage the flow of the day
- Must be independent and self sustaining
Responsibilities
- Daily classroom routines
- Implement a curriculum that prepares students to rise into Kindergarten
- Ensure that necessary skills for elementary school readiness are taught and learned
