Teacher - Special Education, Setting IV
About The Position
The Goodhue County Education District (GCED) is seeking a full-time teacher for its Setting IV program at the River Bluff Education Center in Red Wing, Minnesota. The start date is as soon as possible. Applicants must hold a Minnesota teaching license or be able to access an Out-of-Field Permission. Candidates with ASD and/or EBD licensure are preferred, and applicants with other special education licensure are also encouraged to apply. GCED provides collaborative educational services to six member school districts in Goodhue County, southeastern Minnesota, supporting approximately 7,000 students. The district employs more than 150 staff and partners with school districts and community service agencies to provide specialized programming. Its services include a Federal Setting IV Special Education program, an 18–21 Transition Program, Title III/Multilingual Learner programming, Alternative Education, regional Perkins/Career and Technical Education support, 5RiversOnline, Early Childhood Special Education, and low-incidence disability support, including Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Blind/Visually Impaired services.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the State of Minnesota or able to access an Out-of-Field Permission.
- Other special education licensure is accepted; candidates with ASD and/or EBD licensure are preferred.
