About The Position

STEER LLC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher's Assistant in Buckeye, Arizona. The role supports lead teachers with daily lesson plans and classroom instruction, provides additional assistance to students, and helps foster a safe, organized, and positive learning environment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, nurturing, and adaptable demeanor, with a passion for student success.
Ability to follow directions and collaborate effectively with lead teachers and staff.
Must pass a background check as required by Arizona state regulations.

Nice To Haves

Some college coursework in education.
Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

Support lead teachers in delivering daily lesson plans and classroom instruction.
Provide one-on-one and small-group assistance to students who need additional support.
Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment.
Monitor and document student progress and behavior.
Assist with preparing instructional materials, activities, and classroom resources.
Communicate with teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs.
Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or other non-instructional periods.
