Teacher's Aide - Child Care Center - PT - Days - MRH
About The Position
Assists with developing and leading classroom activities and developmentally appropriate programs. Works collaboratively with the teacher to assess learning/development needs and to develop age appropriate learning solutions. Supervises children to ensure safety. Ensures classroom meets local licensing standards. Follows accreditation and licensing policies and practices. Applies knowledge of learning principles to engage the children in appropriate activities. Assist the teacher with implementing the teaching schedule and curriculum. Assist teachers with course progress report procedures. Attends periodical staff meetings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- CPR Cert American Heart (CPR AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
- CPR Cert Red Cross (CPR RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
- DCF 45-hour Certification (DCF CERT) - Florida Department of Childrens & Family (DCF)
- Six months experience working or volunteering with children.
- Full Level 2 Background Screening at hire and every 5 years following.
