About The Position

The Performing Arts School on Broadway serves grades 7-12 and pairs rigorous academics with performing arts through an educational approach rooted in innovation, imagination, and intention. Students will have opportunities to master geometry through construction and set design, bring history to life on stage, study science through sound and music, and push their creativity through technical art. Students may also choose to participate in the Technical Theater/Theater Design Pathway. The school's Technical Theater/Theater Design Pathway puts students at the heart of the action in the studio, on the stage, or even in the sound booth. Using the sophisticated performance rooms and professional production equipment, students hone their skills in theatrical production. PASB is a non-audition, public school dedicated to offering quality performing arts instruction and experiences to all students. Paramount in this dedication is the belief that while the performing arts offer meaningful career pathways, the vision of PASB is to inspire a love of learning and teach skills in creativity, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership.
