About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the entire 2026–2027 school year. This is an in-person, part-time position requiring 2–3 days per week. The selected educator will provide specialized educational support while helping students access instruction, strengthen communication skills, and work toward their individual academic goals.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement
- Passion for accessible instruction and student advocacy
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and support based on students' individual learning needs
- Collaborate with school personnel to promote educational progress
- Contribute to an accessible and inclusive learning environment
- Support IEP goals
- Monitor student development
- Communicate with families and educational team members
