About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to hire a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for the current school year. This is an in-person position where the selected educator will provide specialized educational support while helping students access instruction, strengthen communication skills, and work toward their individual academic goals.
Requirements
- Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement
- Passion for accessible instruction and student advocacy
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and support based on students' individual learning needs
- Collaborate with school personnel to promote educational progress
- Contribute to an accessible and inclusive learning environment
- Support IEP goals
- Monitor student development
- Communicate with families and educational team members
