About The Position

This role involves planning and implementing instructional goals and activities for students, with a focus on Health and Physical Education. The teacher will work with students with disabilities, foster an understanding of their special needs, and maintain open communication with parents/guardians and the community. The position requires adherence to school disciplinary procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Standard New Jersey Teacher of Health and Physical Education Certification required.
• Ability to work with Students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instructional goals and activities consistent with the IEP, instructional guide and/or appropriate curriculum guide.
• Relate with parents/guardians and community through positive professional cooperation.
• Implement disciplinary procedures of the school.
• Maintain written plans and records of instructional and consultation activities.
• Communicate positive support of students in their educational development.
• Foster an understanding of the special needs of classified students within the school setting.
• Comply with all safety guidelines, procedures and/or programs.
• Perform such other duties as may be assigned by Principal.
