About The Position

BCIT is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Health & Physical Education to join our team as a maternity leave replacement. The ideal candidate will possess a valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in Health & Physical Education. An Adaptive PE endorsement and relevant experience are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of instructional best practices and the ability to engage students in a positive, supportive learning environment.

Requirements

• Valid NJDOE Instructional Certificate in Health & Physical Education
• Experience delivering effective instruction in Health & PE
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Experience working with diverse student populations
• Must pass criminal history background check
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required
• Must establish NJ residency within one year of hire
• Physical and drug testing required
