About The Position
Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program. Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
- Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught; OR Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught; OR Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
- For Allied Health – 4 years of experience (with 2 in the last 5 years) with active licensure, certification, or registration by an accrediting agency as a professional health care practitioner.
- Professional health care professionals eligible to teach the secondary health science program/Allied Health major: Registered Nurse with one year of long-term care experience.
