Provides instruction and is responsible for student learning during a particular time period in mathematics. Requirements

Must hold a valid Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) educator certificate with an endorsement in one or more of the following endorsement areas: 029 or applicable

Nice To Haves

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Haitian Creole highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, standards-based mathematics instruction that develops students' problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and mathematical thinking skills.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, academic growth, and confidence in mathematics.
Use assessment data to differentiate instruction, monitor student progress, and provide timely feedback to support achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues to implement curriculum, integrate instructional technology, and advance school improvement goals.
Prepare students for success in higher-level mathematics, college, careers, and real-world applications through rigorous and relevant learning experiences.
