The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) is seeking a skilled and industry-experienced Precision Machining Instructor for Ginn Academy. This role involves leading a comprehensive Career-Technical Education program to prepare students for careers in machining, CNC operation, manufacturing technology, and industrial maintenance. The instructor will deliver rigorous instruction in machining processes, blueprint reading, CNC programming, metrology, safety practices, and project-based learning, aligned with Ohio’s Career-Technical Education standards. The position requires supporting students in earning industry-recognized credentials, completing authentic machining projects, and participating in work-based learning experiences. Compliance with all Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) requirements for CTE program delivery, assessment, and reporting is essential. The district offers competitive wages, strong administrative support, and ongoing professional development. This is a union position requiring 34.17 hours per week for 185 days per year.
