Manufacturing Engineer-Machining
About The Position
As part of our Manufacturing team, you’ll help build the world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles we're known for. In our plants around the world, we’re constantly developing new technologies and processes to further increase our efficiency. You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love. The candidate will be responsible for the specification, design, validation, runoff, installation, and launch of new and existing machining systems that produce engine and transmission components. These may include cylinder heads, cylinder blocks, transmission cases and other largely aluminum components. The candidate will work with a team of engineers and interact regularly with plant operations personnel and suppliers. They will be responsible for elementsof the process including tooling, gauging, and overall process documentation.
