About The Position
Alma School District is seeking an assistant football coach certified to teach 7-12 Education. The assistant football coach works directly with the guidelines provided by the Arkansas Activities Association. This position is a 210 day contract to begin in July. The position also includes assisting the Head Spring Sports Coach with the day-to-day operations of a spring sport and developing/assisting with the off-season program. Requirements
- Holds or can secure Arkansas teacher license in 7-12 education
- Valid Arkansas Coaching certification or endorsement
- Appropriate classroom management skills

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Football Coach with the day-to-day operations of the football program
- Assist with Special Teams responsibilities
- Assist the Head Spring Sports Coach with the day-to-day operations of a spring sport
- Will help develop and assist with the off-season program
- Demonstrate an active interest in the academic progress of student athletes in an attempt to prevent academic eligibility problems
- Other duties as assigned
