About The Position

We are seeking a Teacher to join our team. Salary Range: $45,000 - $65,000 As a mission-driven organization, we strive to balance competitive pay with our mission. New hire salaries are typically between the minimum and midpoint. Actual placement in the range will depend on a candidate’s job-related skill, experience, education, licensure, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process. This role provides direct instruction to students requiring special education in a therapeutic educational milieu. As a member of the Education team, you will work with other team members and report to our Director of Education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, required.
• Be eligible for or hold a Missouri certification in teaching field, required.
• At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening
• A valid driver’s license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop Individual Education Plans (IEP’s) that meet state requirements
• Provide individualized direct instruction
• Work with therapy staff to meet both academic and affective goals
• Maintain a trauma-informed classroom environment conducive to learning
• Collect systematic student progress data
• Participate in IEP meetings as requested
• Adhere to the core values and mission of Cornerstones of Care
• Participate in on-going staff development activities
• Other duties, as assigned.
