About The Position

This position is for a Grade 6-8 Math Teacher who is bilingual in Spanish. The role requires a New Jersey Teaching Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility with specific endorsements and a certificate in Bilingual/Bicultural Education (Spanish). The teacher will be responsible for effective instructional strategies, classroom management, and utilizing assessment data to inform instruction. Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish are essential for interacting with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, result-driven, and proficient in using technology for educational purposes.

Requirements

• Hold a New Jersey Teaching Certificate or Certificate of Eligibility in K-6 with Middle School Math Endorsement or K-12 Math.
• Hold a certificate in Bilingual/Bicultural Education (Spanish).
• Knowledge of child growth and development.
• Knowledge of effective instructional strategies.
• Knowledge of classroom management.
• Knowledge of assessment and data analysis for instructional purposes.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to use electronic equipment for word processing, data management, digital technology to augment authentic learning, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations, and telecommunications.
• Must be computer literate.
• Highly motivated result-driven educator.
