About The Position

This position is for an Exceptional Student Education (ESE) teacher working with Pre-Kindergarten students. All prospective employees must undergo a Level 2 background check, including fingerprinting and checks against various criminal and sexual offender registries, as required by Florida State Statute 435.04. Eligibility must be confirmed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

• PreK Primary Certification OR Preschool Education Certification OR PreK Disability Endorsement
• Exceptional Student Education (K-12) Certification
• Must pass a Level 2 background check
• Must be found eligible by the AHCA Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

Responsibilities

• Teach Exceptional Student Education (ESE) to Pre-Kindergarten students.
• Comply with Level 2 background check requirements.
• Submit to fingerprinting for statewide and national criminal history records checks.
• Undergo searches of sexual predator and sexual offender registries.
