This position is for a Teacher in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) for Pre-K students in a community-based setting for the 2026-2027 school year. The teacher will be responsible for managing a caseload of preschoolers receiving services in the community and home settings, implementing identification procedures for students with disabilities, and developing, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing Individual Education Programs (IEPs). The role involves establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with community daycares and preschools, providing them with resources and information to support students with disabilities, and ensuring due process safeguards for students and parents. The teacher will use appropriate instructional methodologies and behavior management strategies, administer evaluations of student progress, maintain communication with parents, and conduct IEP meetings. Additionally, the teacher will serve on the exceptional student education placement committee, monitor records for compliance, and follow all school and system procedures while ensuring confidentiality.
