About The Position

The Early Head Start Center-Based Teacher creates a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for infants and toddlers ages 0–3. The teacher plans and implements developmentally appropriate activities that promote social-emotional growth and support school readiness, in alignment with Early Head Start Performance Standards and program goals. The role is responsible for overall classroom operation, including classroom management, accurate recordkeeping, and active supervision of children.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, child development, or a related field.
• Experience working with children under the age of 5 years.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with data management and reporting systems.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for occasional home visits.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree.
